Some Edublogs (educational blogs) worth reading

Tom Barrett http://tbarrett.edublogs.org/

Tim Rylands http://www.timrylands.com/blog/

Doug Belshaw http://www.mrbelshaw.co.uk/teaching/

I'd love to hear from anyone who knows or has a good education-oriented blog.

My other blog Periodic Fable is about elearning in a variety of educational contexts and may also be of interest to teachers using ICT.

Children's blogging and podcasting

What a fabulous story from the BBC about a primary school in East Dunbartonshire (Scotland) that is using Web 2.0 for language learning. The pupils are blogging and podcasting in French as well as using the technology to support study in other subjects. Congratulations to Woodhill Primary School, Bishopbriggs who won the award for Best International School in the Scottish Education Awards 2007. (The Awards website has not been updated with information about the winners at the time of writing.)
